Ahold’s Albert Heijn chain has, in a dispute with Unilever, reportedly has removed about 30 of the manufacturer’s SKUs from its shelves.

The disagreement is over supply terms, though neither company is divulging specifics of the dispute.

To keep it in perspective, Albert Heijn normally carries hundreds of Unilever products, so the removal apparently is just a small warning shot across Unilever’s bow. Nobody seems to expect things to go any farther.
