Marks & Spencer announced that it will expand upon a successful pilot program that has it hiring prisoners near the ends of their sentences to work in about 20 of its stores.
The participants will be approved by the parole board, and chosen because it is believed that getting such an opportunity will help keep them on the straight-and-narrow once leaving prison.
