- Kraft Foods appointed Irene Rosenfeld to the newly created position of president, North American business, overseeing the five operating groups and 15 business divisions that make up Kraft Foods North America (KFNA), as well as new product development. Rosenfeld formerly was group vice president, KFNA, and president of operations, technology, procurement and information systems for Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
- David Johnson has been appointed by Kraft to replace Rosenfeld as group vice president, KFNA, and president of operations, technology, procurement and information systems. Johnson is the former group vice president of the region, and president for beverages, desserts and cereals.
- Elizabeth Smith, former executive vice president, KFNA, and general manager of beverages, was appointed group vice president, KFNA, and president, beverages, desserts and cereals.
- Daryl Brewster, former executive vice president, KFNA, and general manager, biscuits, was named group vice president, KFNA, and president, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
