- Dave Lauffer has joined GroceryWorks, the joint venture of Safeway and Tesco, as its new Vice President of Operations. Lauffer is a 12-year veteran of Safeway, most recently as senior retail operations manager in Southern California with Vons, a Safeway-owned company.
