- Marigold Foods recalled half-gallons of Kemps Premium chocolate chip ice cream due to the possible presence of ingredients not listed on carton labels. These ingredients -- cashews, filberts, hazelnuts, or almonds -- could cause serious allergic reactions in some people. This ice cream was distributed through supermarkets in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Michigan, though no illnesses have been reported to date.
