McDonald's may be facing declining profits and serious questions about its role in the fast food world, but management believes it has found one way to draw attention back to its stores.

It is painting its roofs red.

Its arches, however, are remaining fold.

Perhaps of greater import to consumers, McDonald's also reportedly is considering putting staffers outside to take orders from cars on the drive-through line and therefore speed up service.
