Albertsons Inc. said it would invest more than $300 million in Colorado over the next three years, building new stores, fuel centers and remodeling existing units.
The company has 40 stores in the Denver area, and plans to increase that to 50 by 2005. It currently operates a total of 59 in Colorado.
