Reuters reports that a German court has banned retailers from selling products at below cost for extended periods of time, saying it made the decision to protect smaller retailers from predatory pricing.

The ruling is considered a blow to Wal-Mart, which has struggled to get a foothold in Germany and generally uses such tactics to promote its “always low prices” strategy.

We can think of more than a few retailers who probably think this sounds like a pretty good law to have back in the good old USA…
