Planet Retail reports this morning that Costco is actively seeking sites in Northern Ireland and continental Europe, including France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Poland, as well as some smaller markets.
Jim Murphy, managing director of Costco’s UK operations, said that a partner is not necessarily required to enter these markets. “It's just a question of finding the right opportunity the right sites at the right price,” he said.
