Wal-Mart reported that it had been informed that the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) union has abandoned an effort to organize at a Wal-Mart store in Ocala, Florida.
The company said the decision was expected because the employees in the store had “told the union repeatedly that they were not interested in union representation."
