McDonald's Corp.’s new CEO, Jim Cantalupo, said yesterday that the burger giant will stick with the “Dollar Menu” strategy that it has been using of late to bring customers back into its stores.
Cantalupo also said that he would close underperforming stores in both the US and Japan in an effort to improve profitability.

- We can understand there is a reluctance to walk away from a low price strategy, especially when Burger King is hammering it home all the time. But we still think that these fast food chains would be better off pushing their menus into newer and healthier directions.
