The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) announced that it has sold seven Kohl's supermarkets in Madison, Wisconsin to The Copps Corporation, a subsidiary of Roundy's. Terms of the sale were not revealed.
The sale is part of A&P’s efforts to shed itself of certain operations as it seeks profitability, and the rest of its Kohl’s stores could possibly be sold off as well.
