McDonald’s announced that its planned switch to a healthier cooking oil will be delayed. "While speedy implementation is an admirable goal, we are most focused on the satisfaction of our customers and the quality of our products," said Ralph Alvarez, McDonald's U.S. chief operations officer.

Originally, McDonald’s planned to have al 13,000 of its restaurants in the US switched by the end of February. It won’t make that time frame, nor has it set out a new goal.
