According to a new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, there is evidence that tea may boost the body’s ability to fight infection and may actually be effective in preventing the onset of certain diseases.

Coffee does not have these properties, according to the study.

While scientists described the findings as “significant,” some say that further study on a larger test group is required to be sure of the results.

We actually like tea, but can’t be sure that it’ll give us the same 4 a.m. boost that coffee gives us before we start writing MNB.
