Dow Jones reports that Fleming Cos. has asked the court overseeing its bankruptcy protection for a two-month delay, to July 1, 2003, in its filing of specific asset and liability statements that relate to individual debtors.
The court will consider the motion on May 19.
Fleming listed assets of $4.22 billion and debts of $ 3.54 billion when it filed for bankruptcy on April 1.
