- Wal-Mart has named Carter Cast to be president of Walmart.com succeeding John Fleming, who recently was promoted to the role of corporate chief marketing officer.
Cast originally joined Walmart.com as marketing vice president in 2000, but left the company to join eBay. Now, he’s back.
- Procter & Gamble has announced the retirement of Michael Kehoe, president of global oral care, effective in January 2006.
Until then, he will serve as president on special assignment.
Succeeding Kehoe is Charles Pierce, current president of global family care.
David Taylor, current vice president of North America family care, has been appointed president of global family care.
Paolo deCesare, current president of global skin care and global personal cleansing, has been elected president of global skin care, personal cleansing and deodorants.
Melanie Healey, current vice president of North America feminine care, has been named president of global feminine care.
Martin Riant, president of global feminine care and global deodorants/Old Spice, will now serve as president of global baby care and adult care.
Steven Jemison, current general counsel of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, will now serve as secretary and associate general counsel.
- Thijs Smit, senior vice president Internal Audit at Ahold, announced that he will leave the company at the end of the year to pursue other interests.
