Krispy Kreme – dealing with troubled operations and ongoing federal investigations into its accounting practices in the United States – reportedly has signed a franchising agreement that could result in as many as 40 of its doughnut shops being opened in Japan.

The company already has franchise agreements in South Korea, China and the Middle East.

Maybe, instead of a franchise agreement, we could just bomb North Korea with tons of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. If they hit people on the head, they’d die. And if they ate them…well, eventually…
